MRC ANIMATIC TIMING VIDEO v3 V4 Script)

UofM_MRC_Orientation_V3 Timing Vid

We will keep building on this with animation and video until its done. THanks for the notes.

MRC STATIC IMAGE DECK V1 (Approval) (for V3 Script)

These are the actual images we would animate when approved. Hit us with notes. Citing the section number and what we need to adjust.

WORLD BUILD APPROVAL

This is what the actual graphics will look like. We used the intro from the script to show that the look will be.

INTRO TIMING ANIMATIC

This video helps us dial in the timing and content prior to the super expensive and time consuming animation portion of the project. You can hear I took some liberties to make some minor adjustments in my scratch VO. You can see how each section will flow into the next and we can work in some live action video too. Once the script is complete we will build out the art for the entire script and make adjustments as we go until we know everything is working and then we will animate the entire video.

Eventually this will have a professional female voice over and high end animation and sound design as well as several sections with bullet points and less complex animation.

The main goal today is to make sure we are liking:

  1. The style and execution.

  2. FONT We swapped the Bold Felt Marker for something more inline with the MRC brand standards (in development)

  3. COLOR We adjusted the pallete to have more primary colors and eliminated the pastels.

  4. The Main Character. (For exmaple We could add a yellow vest but thought we might only use that on scenes with deployment)

  5. White or Blue Backdrops (we plan to limit the layout styles to only these 2 basic styles unless we need to add or adjust for any reasons.

Looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts.

STYLE REFERENCE ART (Doctors In Italy)

STYLE REFERENCE

We plan to generally emulate the Multnomah MRC video link Oona sent “ Medical Reserve Corps Orientation Part 1” linked below. (Original Style Reference)

We can elevate the style and quality and make several other improvements. We would only show the Animated host occasionally maybe a few times in the video.

The style reference video we selected below features characters in settings that help viewers visualize the benefits of their ap and we can create a similar video.

We like the “Physics” and pacing of this video animation and how each section seamlessly flows into the next. The animation style is simple and economical.

We can emulate this style occasionally and blend with the format of the Multnomah MRC video.

The 2 planes of animation (foreground and background) move in different space creating a dynamic “Parallax” effect with fun zooms in and out.

The movment and physics are very solid and the ease in and out moves create a fluid motion that helps transition in and out of the static longer information dense sections.

We will also develop a layout for the main sections video with less complex animations that will rely on a bit more simple iconography and execution.

These sections will be all in the same mono tone color palate. And reenforce the info from the voice over with bullet point text and some simple graphics.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

The voice over will be a warm friendly tone from a professional VO talent. (We can discuss if you like male or female better.

The entire run time wont have intense animation but we will balance the pacing so the video can stay dynamic and keep the viewers attention even if most of the sections are simply animating out text with a simple icon or image or maybe picture or live action video.

We are thinking a few primary colors and some pastels for a fairly limited color palate.

ORIGINAL MRC VIDEO REFERENCE

The structure will reflecct the outline and script MRC sumbits and generally emulate the formula from the Multnomah MRC video with a character guiding the viewer through the video. We could consider skipping this as it can come across a bit silly and eats up much of the budget (unless its super important to Oona and team)

Regardless of if the character talks we plan to have them guide us through the presentation with lots of movement and zoom in and out of the key information presented.

Each section can have a cool animated transition in and out and some light animation in each main section.

MOOD BOARD

This will be a mix of purchased art mixed with customized art and we are thinking a nice thick font for titles with the same font from prior MRC vids. Pastel colors with maybe ONE main primary color that makes up a monotone simple layout with icons and clean graphics and text lists for the less animated sections and moments.

SIMILAR WORK SAMPLE

Super excited to make this with you and look forward to hearing you thoughts and dial it all in. -Shane
